Menu Overview & Food Philosophy

We are pleased to present our menu package for 2013.

This year we have changed the format of our lunch menus. We have Four set menus and have also given you the freedom of choosing what you like from a variety of listed items in the bread,hot and cold savoury, sweet slices and fresh fruit selections .The menus are based on autumn and winter dishes and we will introduce new spring and summer menus in September .

Our breads are provided by two local artisan bakeries. Our poultry, meats and small goods are also New Zealand farmed where possible as well as utilizing New Zealand fish and seafood products that are listed as sustainable species. Our fresh herbs are local and home grown and organic whenever possible.We have tried to offer the best quality seasonal food and will provide monthly specials to promote this philosophy.

We have an extensive recycling system in place within our main function production kitchen with all glass, tin, paper and plastic recycled weekly. We are involved in the local Wellington City Council’s ‘Kai To Compost’ programme where once a week all of our leftover food, egg shells, vegetable scraps and disposable towels are taken away to make compost for local public spaces.

We understand that many of our clients need catering over a few days or a week and don’t really have the time to study the menus provided.We are happy to work out a menu suitable for you so clients dont receive the same food each day.

We also understand that many clients have special dietary requirements due to medical conditions or a life style choice. We have included gluten free and dairy free menu options and these are individually packaged. We can also provide for any vegetarian and vegan guests and food will be individually plated and labeled accordingly. Any other dietary requirements needed will be also plated and labeled accordingly.

We are always happy to work with you to design menus that are suited to your requirements and budget.

All our food is presented on  white platters or baskets, delivered to your office or venue with napkins. We will collect all platters and baskets the following day.
